Summer sky

Over the allotments this evening.

Its been another beautiful day - too hot in the office, of course .... winge, winge, winge!! ... but a lovely walk after work. I sneaked into the nearby allotments for a good poke round and saw that most of the Allotment Holders will be enjoying much of their harvest now:

Runner Beans
Broad Beans
Lettuce
Toms
Cucumber
Marrows
Courgettes
Sweet corn
Spuds
Onions
Rhubarb
Strawberries, Raspberries, Black and Red Currants, Gooseberries, etc. etc.
Cornflowers, Sweet Peas, Holyhocks, Dahlias, Gladioli, Nastursiums etc.etc.

And, my walk this evening was accompanied by a very welcome breeze!
