Stung by a Bee

I must be feeling better, thanks for your good wishes, because today I tried to experiment with filters. This flower is a deep red/ orange, which yellows as it ages. I had been told that this plant is a Rudbeckia, but it looks more like a Helenium in my flower book. Anyway, none of this bothers the bees who love it. This bee's legs are covered in yellow pollen.

Just afterwards I was stung on my elbow, but since no sting was left behind I can console myself with the thought that at least the bee survived to tell the tale.
