We found it!
Warm, sunny day with no threat of rain.
We took the grandchildren geocaching with us in Crombie Country Park. The Park Ranger had set a number of caches based around the Gruffalo story. There were jigsaw pieces to collect from each cache which would make a Jigsaw of the Gruffalo when we found all of them.
It meant a walk of a mile and a half through the woodland as we went from one to another. We found 5 in an hour and a half, but still had more to find - another day, perhaps before the school holidays are over.
It is such a good, healthy and fun family activity and is easily combined with Blip.
If you want to see a few more photos of the action and the forest, head over to my Flikr set.
