Bastille Day

Headed to Le Thon, a prehistoric park with animals near Montignac that was included in our Lacaux tickets. It was quite hot so we headed home, stoping in Montfort for a ice cream. Montfort is right beside our campsite and incredibly beautiful, a really well preserved cobbled village.
More swimming and BBQ, then headed up to the little Monday night marche on the campsite where Betty queued patiently to get a hair wrap and we bought some wee souvenirs. floss took Nelly down to the beach to build a sandcastle and I waited with Elizabeth whilst she was getting her hair done. She's VERY pleased with it!
Lots of fireworks later, we realised it was Bastille Day!
