MonoMonday: Signs

This road sign always makes me smile; I think the Welsh word is very onomatopoeic because it makes me think of cars or motorcycles speeding over them and going tumpety, tumpety. The Welsh speakers probably don't see it that way...

Today the cork will come out of the bottle of prosecco! All references received and the flat is mine. That's the good news. The bad news is that I cannot get my belongings onto the boat to Guernsey during August. The conventional ferry scraped its bottom on rocks so is out of action and the fast ferries are full. So I'll go as a foot passenger at the end of August and my belongings will have to follow in September. A minor inconvenience...
