Me too!

I was busy photographing this adult dassie (rock hyrax) and her baby when the little one on the right suddenly popped up, almost asking to be photographed too!
There is an increasingly large family of dassies living in the bushes near our house, but they are a bit skittish when they have their young with them. Today I stood quietly for some time, and they started appearing - they are inquisitive creatures, and love sitting in the sun.
It's difficult to believe that their close relative is the elephant.
