TdF Stage 18: Swim with the Fishes

Nibali looks like he has got the Tour sewn up after today's mountain stage. He comes from Messina, Sicily. Which has all sorts of mafia connotations.

He insists that he is a Sicilian, not an Italian. Which if true sounds like a PR gaffe of the Andy Murray " I am a Scot - not a Brit " type that he made some years ago. Andy has grown up since then.

I would be surprised if Nibali hasn't dropped that stance by now.

Any way, he is certainly a fantastic rider.
