Abbotsbury Swannary, Chesil Beach

While we were in this neck of the woods I made a return visit to Abbotsbury Swannary which is based along Chesil Beach.

The cygnets were in pens now - no big enough to fly or join the main flock in the lagoon. They will start to learn to fly in the next month or so which will mean another visit to Abbotsbury to try to capture the action.

Today the only active birds were the canada geese and some cormorants/shags in the distance.
