The Ghan, Darwin to Alice Springs

I'm surprised they let the outback truck campers on this swanky train. It must be Australia's Orient Express, and 26 hours of luxury with amazing food and wine cost as much as our 9 days camping along the Gibb River Road. But it was lovely to wear a dress and make up again, and pretend I was part of this lifestyle. We had a nice en suite cabin, and there was an spacious observation bar to sit in. I enjoyed the bar! The whole thing was a once in a lifetime experience!
