Holy Cow!

We went to the Caverly Farm in Benton for Maine Open Farm Day. Housing 1,100+ cattle for milking keeps the family and 16 employees busy. They have 1,100 acres to raise corn, mow and expand. Their milk goes to Vermont to make Cabot cheese. An interesting place to visit. I love learning!

The afternoon was spent dodging raindrops as we watched two of Colby's baseball games. They won the first, lost the second in an incredible game. Seven innings, no score. Then the Messalonski team scored a run at the end of the seventh. Baseball is done, football starts tomorrow!
