Temptation

Alice belongs to debating club at school and she and her friend Maysa managed to talk themselves into vegetarianism. How good is that? Says something about the quality of their debating I think.

Anyway it's been nearly six months now and each gal has been determined not to give in. Until this week that is, when they made a pact to end it and shared a large plate of chicken.

Unfortunately Alice is now in a major quandary. She alternately craves meat (she stared at this upmarket hotdog for ages) and then feels very guilty for eating it.

So we'll see. By next weekend we could be back to lentils and quorn or be devouring steak. The jury is definitely out.

And I can't wait to see what they debate next term.
