Duck!

I popped to the shops this morning and bought a couple of T shirts - holidays looming - then had a some lunch and headed for Ross-on-Wye, about an hour by car, where we (the City of Bristol Brass Band) were performing in the bandstand. While the start was delayed by an incident on the motorway with several players getting stuck in the subsequent queues, it was a lovely afternoon and there was a very appreciative audience too.

I captured a few shots around the adjacent river, though none were doing it for me until this sculpture of three Mallard Ducks by local Walenty Pytel caught my eye. I wasn't convinced at the time that any of my images were blippable so I stopped off at Haresfield Beacon on the way home and the views were particularly good today. In the end it was a tough choice but I thought that the sculpture is a bit different.
