A lady of observation

By teresasmith12

A time to remember.

I read Women's Weekly regularly. This year marks 100 years since the outbreak of WW1. The magazine asked readers of all ages to make poppies. Now I am just no good at making such elaborate things, so when the opportunity came up for readers to assemble the poppies onto wreaths I emailed in to put my name forward for a kit.
I assembled the kit and my daughter and I took the wreath down to our village memorial to lay on behalf of all Women's weekly readers everywhere in memory of all the Shepreth men who died in conflict during The Great War.
