Day 13

Views like this were the norm as we embarked on an overnight cruise-like journey through Halong Bay, Vietnam.

Our vacation continues to exceed our expectations.

Today, we boarded a boat with 10 other people, our guide, and crew. We settled into our room (ours being a cute double bed room on the bottom floor) with amazing window views, and enjoyed a nice lunch.

We sailed to a beautiful cave where we hiked a bit in to see spectacular views. After our time there, we boarded again and continued along this UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was so surreal.

Dinner was delightful, and the sunset was enjoyed on top of the boat.

The Goose and I shared a nice bottle of wine (something we're not used to in China), and soaked the rest of the night away.
