At ease
" Mom, your blips are always so happy and positive, of course will people wonder when you say you have a difficult day" my son said this morning when we talked on skype.
I didn't realize that myself and I'm sorry if my friends worried about me but at the same time I'm grateful to have such wonderful friends.
We had personal problems in my family yesterday that I'm not ready to share yet. It was a bad day but even a worse night and I'm ready to share that with you. My younger daughter went with her 3 girlfriends to a town festival in Húsavík last night. It's a 100 km drive from Akureyri. She called us at midnight and told us that on the way to Húsavík they had a car crash. No one was hurt but she had to go in an ambulance to the Hospital for a check out. It was quite a shock and we decided to drive to Húsavík to see her. On our way we had to drive to the accident site and there we met the other 3 girls and talked to the police. According to the police they were very lucky they didn't get more hurt in the accident. Our daughter and two girls in the other car were at the Húsavík hospital. We were very happy to see that our precious daughter had been discharged and was waiting for us when we got there. We got home safely at 03:30.
She now has a sore muscle in her neck and shoulder but other wise she's fine.
We are very thankful that everything turned out the best way and happy to be able to have our coffee and toast in peace and quiet on the terrace this morning.
