The next Roger Federer!

This weekend is a big one in the tennis calendar and as a tennis playing family, I thought I would blip something relevant. Louis is quite the budding tennis star and at 2 and a half has already had a rally of 8 with Matthew and is continuously shocking us with his attempts at back hand and serves and informing us that he is going to be the 'next Roger Federer'

Matthew and I play every week, he is much better than me and actually taught me to play when we met 5 years ago. I absolutely love the game and played in my first competitive match before Christmas which was scary but great fun even though we lost 6-0, 6-1.

William has coaching every Friday after school and during the holidays and i'm sure it won't be long before he is beating me.

With Matthew's family being so sporty (Dad, ex-professional footballer, brother, PGA Golfer) and Matthew's natural ability to pick up and achieve in any sport I know that he would love it if any of our children pursued a career in tennis.

We will all be watching Andy Murray try and beat Federer on Sunday and who knows perhaps we will be watching Louis or William play in the same tournament in year's to come!
