A Strkying Thought

When I first moved to Wolverhampton, years ago, I was taken by the adverts on a lot of the railway bridges, I'd never seen anything like that before - such a simple idea! I was walking out this way, which I don't often do, so decided to take a photo of such an advert. Strykers was a major player on the entertainment scene in Wolverhampton for many years, a lot of people on community forums have fond memories of the place. Sadly, Strykers is no more - an arson attack last December led to it's demolition this spring. Although it no longer exists, this advert serves as a reminder of a well-loved place in the city. A sepia toned photo seemed appropriate for thinking abuot what once was.
