Kindness of strangers
We walked along a footpath into Comrie. It was a really beautiful walk but over 2 miles in the sun and a bit of a challenge for the smallest ones. We bought snacks and sat trying to decide what to do. There was a wildlife centre signposted so we asked a man about it. He told us it was another mile at least out of the village. We explained we had already walked a long way with the kids and he told us about t great charity shop and some other things to do. We sat down by the river to wait for the charity shop to open. (all the while thinking how much moaning was going to happen on the long walk home). Then the man returned. He offered to drive Gordon back to Comrie croft to pick up the car. What a kind man. Thank you Martin.
