Trying out the sand-castle bucket

This evening was a perfect opportunity to let CJ use his new sand-castle bucket, so we headed down to the beach. CJ proudly carried his bucket down on the sand and it wasn't long before he and S2 were busy filling it up and making sand castles.

Once the novelty of building and smashing sand castles wore off, they switched to making the biggest pile of sand possible and therefore the deepest hole possible! This created a new game - jumping off (or sliding down) the pile of sand into the hole! Oh the giggles that this game created!

And oh the sand that went everywhere - so it was straight into the bath as soon as we got home! In CJ's eyes a perfect way to end the day - sand and water!
