Highchair-gate

Ugh. What a day. Two tired fraught parents, one teething toddler. Carnage!

A lovely trip to West Didsbury ended up in a row in the middle of Albert's as Angus was trying to discipline Audrey after she failed to sit in the highchair and I waded in and lifted her out, undermining all his hard work. I just couldn't take the stares from other customers any longer! Cue massive row. Me storming off (I came back a few minutes later, it was for dramatic effect!)

Truth is we are just both shattered. Angus working away, stress over his exams, getting in at 3am after commuting to Leeds last night, me not sleeping, looking after Audrey full time, stress about my work = recipe for disaster!

I worked on Audrey's nap and finished a presentation for Tuesday that I was worrying about, Angus and I made up and then we drove up to Mum and Dad's for a lovely tea (and break as they played with Audrey).
