Neighborhood excitement

Shortly before 8:00am this morning, we heard sirens. As the sounds became louder, we thought, is it in our neighborhood? Quick answer, 'Yes'! Fire trucks zipped past our house and around the corner. I put my shoes and coat on and walked around the corner to see what I could see. No external smoke or flames, but more than a few firemen and equipment ready to deploy. A total of three local fire companies responded - thankfully, nothing major and no one was injured - a startling way to start the day!
