Birthdays

Jonathan celebrating his birthday (his first according to the candle count, but I'm suspicious of that myself) and retirement.

Now that's a Real Beard.

This party immediately followed the one celebrating of the life of our friend Margaretta, whose 101th birthday it would have been today.

Games with Paul in the evening for four of us. M had also unexpectedly turned up this weekend; though J was ensconced in Lego animationing. Paul bought along Istanbul, which won this year's Kennenspiel des Jahres (Game of the Year, for Connoisseurs) which was excellent.
