Whiskers!

Ted has lovely whiskers!

Matthew had a great result today and has been able to buy a watch makers lathe! He has been trying to buy one for a couple of years but the right one at the right price could not be found, it appeared they were like hens teeth! This is one from a chap who he knows and who has decided that he is retiring from clock and watchmaking and repairs.

It has been so very hot today that our plan to visit a National Trust property after viewing the lathe was abandoned and we came home via Christmas Common and had a picnic in the shade.

A surprise visit from Judi this afternoon was lovely and then an evening catching up with Commonwealth Games and Tour De France!
