Potato fruit

How could I not know this?!
After some initial confusion, today's lesson in local crops was to establish that potato plants can set fruits that look remarkably like tomatoes. We don't, in fact, have a climate that would support a huge field of tomatoes without benefit of poly tunnels! Nor do we have a large scale planting of TomTatoes - intriguing as they sound.
