Not a buzzard - or even a robin

All day we have had buzzards whirling and crying above our house. They were frequently being mobbed by other birds, crows I think. Do you think I could get a photo? No. Every time that a buzzard was really close, I had no camera in my hand. When I had a camera, pas de buzzard.

I did manage a few photos of a very mediocre robin looking totally bored – probably too hot for him. I even went out and filled the bird bath to brimming to invite him in – no chance.

Even the pigeons didn’t want to stay around today.
