Beirut...

Today we were asked by Edinburgh council to put on a demo and competition at Sighthill skatepark as part of their "Altogether in the park" event.

The day started out quite nice but as soon as we started up our newly aquired generator, it started to rain. Not heavy rain, but consistant and consistant enough to soak the park rendering the whole game a bit of a bogey. Bit of a shame as a fair few skaters turned up for it.

This is part of 3 tower blocks that dominate the Sighthill skyline. I've always wondered what it is like to live in one of these. I'm sure Still Game gives a very watered down version of it but I've never known anyone or known anyone that knows anyone, that's lived in one of these.
