Life cut short.

I saw this on the way to church this morning, and I know it is depressing, but the news has been pretty depressing this week. There is just so much horror going on in other places and yet it is peaceful here. The exception to the bad news has been the Commonwealth Games, and I have to say that Glasgow is looking splendid on TV.
