Colour and reflections

Nothing like a bit of neon.

Colour and reflection was the theme of my assignment in central Christchurch last night. I wasn't quite lying on the footpath when I took this but it was close. The things we do for a photo ;-)

I was working on my own and it was a little unnerving, but once I found a subject or two to explore I became absorbed (I kept an eye out for what was going on around me). I'm keen to try photographing colour and reflections again, but I'd go with someone else next time. It's not that I felt unsafe, but I know I'd feel more relaxed working with someone else.

Earlier today we worked on taking portraits with a wide angle and telephoto lens. I felt like my mind opened up to a whole new world of possibilities. It was a lot of fun.
