Badminton
After another fun day at Holiday Club, I headed to the Emirates Arena for some Commonwealth badminton. This is Scotland's Kirsty Gilmour on her way to just one of the 5 Scottish team victories in the pool tie with Guernsey. Great event, 5 matches to watch, so even if the one right in front of you in on a break or changeover, then there is something else to watch. I had Scotland-Guernsey, Ghana-Kenya and Jersey-Mauritius to watch, the latter two were actually more competitive, the J-M men's doubles was the only match to go to three games the whole vening, and it was a pleasure to watch. I hoped they'd win, as I was sitting near the athlete/officials reserved seats, and one of the Jersey player's young son was watching, and all you could hear was 'come on Daddy!' from a wee 3-4 year old voice.
Callum is more settled today - probably because he's being left in peace a little more than yesterday when he was constantly being hassled for new tests, poor wee soul.
