Seals in the rain

The weather turned today - still very warm, but wet too. Which was pretty bad timing for the Seatrek boat trip this afternoon with some of the young folk from Pointers. We got wet and cold. Still a good trip though, we saw lots of seals and lots of puffins and other bird life. Some of the group caught a glimpse of a porpoise, but I missed it. We were taken out to the spot where orca had been seen two weeks ago, but it wasn't to be for us...one day!

So, it really wasn't a good trip for photographs at all and this is about the best I got, in a relatively sheltered bay. The middle seal looks like he's been through the wars a bit, possibly missing an eye by the look of him?!
