Where is the key grip ?

dwalletta blipped a film production unit during the week and persuaded me to join her as a crowd extra in a bingo hall shoot in Portobello tonight. Fascinating to observe but progress was very slow, I am unclear exactly what a key grip does, but she was always in demand.
