The Dear Green Place

I rarely do more than dip in and out of televised marathon coverage, but this morning I am mesmerised not by the runners so much as by the glorious eye in the sky and street level coverage of the City Of Glasgow, indeed the Dear Green Place. How much of a boost will this be for tourism? And it has been earned already by the people of the city and by those who had the vision and courage to bid and then to plan and prepare. Really proud of the city.
