Back Blip

Helen came to stay today before she heads back to Perth, Australia via Singapore tomorrow. She treated us to a fantastic paella and fideu lunch in a small dappled square near our house. It really was one of those truly relaxed, extended and al fresco Spanish lunches which you can only really have here, and one of the nicest meals we have enjoyed, both in terms of company and food; who present will ever forget the magnificent starter of small marinated boquerone fish served on roasted red peppers and garnished with sliced black olives!

Regulars will remember Helen from our previous times together in Barcelona, Belen and, most recently, last month in Cairo. What a bonus to have had more 'eureka' moments this weekend! Thanks again, Helen, and bon voyage!
