Knitting at Gibside

Caught up with a friend and her little boy at Gibside, a lovely National Trust site in Gateshead where you can watch the flocks of Red Kites and the Queen Mother spent some if her childhood. The weather was so hot that the girls had also decided to take their knitting to do in the shade. This is my eldest daughter working on her scarf in pretty shades of blue.
