Typical!

I waited weeks for my tomatoes to show signs of ripening - in the last few days they have - in two more days the first one should be ripe enough to eat. Tomorrow I go away on holiday!
I'm only away for 5 days - will be back on Thursday - so perhaps I'll be able to have two or three for my tea.
