Another shot from my vacation location. A 7km bicycle ride (round trip) to get to the Mandefjild, an area maintained by "It Fryske Gea", the Frisian Landscape Foundation. It's a beautiful heathland area and I have already added it to my list of locations I need to revisit.

It's been another excellent day here in Bakkeveen. We took the girls to the "Naturij" in Drachten, where they could run, play and see all sorts of animals. The weather turned out quite a bit better than forecasted so we actually stayed there a whole lot longer than we thought we would...
