Sirmione

We caught a boat over to Sirmione today which was really worth the visit.
I'm not sure why but the castle was free today and we managed to get there before the queues so we had a good explore and climbed as high as possible for fantastic views.

The ice-creams are of course fantastic over here like you'd expect and Dex has developed quite a taste for them. All morning he kept asking for an ice-cream and our conversation went something like this:

Me: Dex, you've had two tantrums today. If you have one more tantrum you won't get an ice-cream. Do you understand?
Dexter: Okay Mummy. I promise not to have one more tantrum.
Later on in the day and several tantrums later...
Dexter:Can I have an ice-cream now please?
Me: You've had three tantrums therefore we said no ice-cream. Remember?
Dexter:No Mummy. I've had four tantrums so I can have an ice-cream because you said if I have three tantrums I won't get an ice-cream...

He said this with such sincerity and desperation for an ice cream that of course we gave in as we just melted with his logic. He is so ridiculously gorgeous in every way. Apart from the tantrums!
