Chapel in Patrimonio

Unusually for us, we decided to ask fro a lift back to Bastia rather than cycle the rather dull and arduous mountain route. A good decision as we had already stretched ourselves to the limits of our fitness over the last few days with some challenging uphill routes through small inland villages. As one hotelier politely but bluntly put it to me (with a strong Corsican French accent0 "You are not Wiggins, eh?"
We had a relaxed and restful afternoon loafing around in our hotel and strolling the streets of Bastia.

The road took us through Patrimonio, a wine growing region which also has a beautiful chapel.
