Hole in the Haar

This morning there was a fairly thick haar blanketing the landscape, but the sun was trying to burn through it and I could feel the warmth as I wandered up the hill with the woofers. They totally disappeared a couple of times as they raced off after rabbits - their grey coats blending in with the grey haar. On the way back to the car this magical hole appeared in the haar, a sign of better weather to come.
Within a short time the haar was gone and the wifeycle and I zoomed into town to buy a rug we had seen advertised. Back home and we wandered to Wasdale with the dogs again. They were less keen on racing around as the day had become significantly warmer. Home for a quick lunch and then of to change a hot water cylinder and look at a broken shower. Now I am waiting for my love to come home from work.
