Sizergh Castle, Cumbria

We slept downstairs last night as it was so hot.

Today was a nice relaxed sort of day. We went to Sizergh Castle and walked around the grounds. The Castle was closed as the 'donor family' are in residence. We had a spot of lunch at Low Sizergh Barn (which was nice and air conditioned) and then went on to a outdoor clothing shop for a hat for Santana and walking sandals and hat for me. All successful.

Home to watch the Commonwealth Games with copious amounts of tea to re-hydrate ourselves.
