June's garden looked a picture today for the afternoon garden party she had planned for her husband's forthcoming 76th Birthday.

Lots of nice things to eat and drink, lots of lovely friends to chat too and some new people to meet. Dogs were invited too and for the most part they all got on. I think it was just too hot for them; certainly was for me and the humidity was shockingly high. Zapped me of all energy but we've just had a really heavy rain shower which has cleared the air just a little.
