Lightening Turkey

My Art Series.........No 9/14


From the insolent demands made on the (until recently) plentiful land of Syria in yesterdays image we move west a few hundred kilometres to the cornucopia of abundance that is Turkeys' Mediterranean coast in Antalya Province. The wonderful people of this country have an eager but restrained appetite for the luxuries of civilised life.

The colours I witnessed here seemed to be a very vivid transfusion of energy early in the day. This Ipad image was originally painted in watercolour using Windsor & Newton Artists Watercolours (which I always carry in my rucksack).

These hues came back to colour Bradford for me!
