Getting the Vintage Look

'Vintage' is one of the themes of Glasgow's Merchant City Festival.

I found things a bit claustrophobic today. We weren't allowed to go on the train into the city centre as it was packed full. They had to run overflow buses. Then the streets were just full of people. The biggest problems were for those trying to get to the Rugby 7s event at Ibrox.

I'm off now to a social evening locally where we are having our very own mini version of the Commonwealth Games. Don't expect to read anything about any Games Records being broken!
