Poinsetia Leaves.

This plant was given to us last Christmas as a small gift and Melanie has been nurturing it ever since. It has grown to quite a size now and is currently living outside in its pot during this warm weather.
Looks good in large.

All the Poinsetias we are given normally die back and thrown out, but not this one. It has given me an opportunity to do some close up work on it with my new ext tubes. I think I need a bit more practice yet!!

I liked the colour of the veins against the green between them, eventually the green will turn red as the veins and become 'Bracts' as they are more commonly known.
