Ready To Roll

Woke up to some lovely clouds looking like they were about to tumble* down over the Schläferskopf**.

We had a day. Minor annoyance when we went shopping thanks to inconsiderate drivers and parking places that are not meant for SUVs - most of Wiesbaden isn't actually off road.

However, we lightened the mood somewhat by finding and booking a little holiday. Who knew Mallorca was so popular at the end of September?

Seriously.

Flights were a nightmare to find - who fancies flying at 4:45 in the morning and coming back at 11 at night? But we've got that sorted and I think I've found a rather nice hotel. Not on the beach but not far and we'll have a balcony.

Rather looking forward to all that.


*tumble or sweep? I'm really not sure what clouds would prefer.
** For some reason this hill would be translated as the Sleeper's Head but it actually gets its name from the Edible Dormouse or Siebenschläfer as it's called here.
