Summer Sunday

After another good night in the hotel, we headed back south fairly early. The roads were not too bad and we were back just after lunchtime and in time for husband to watch the Grand Prix. Sorted out the soggy muddy clothes from our gardening yesterday and gave them an intensive wash to try and get them clean.

Used the rest of the afternoon to do the ironing and catch up on my blip entries. I've got so far behind, I don't seem to be able to catch up.

There were loads of insects in the garden and several of these day-flying moths, Pyrausta purpuralis. Apparently the larvae feed on thyme - we have lots of it around the pond.
