Just a little sad story

There was a little slug lying in the rain. All of a sudden the rain stopped, and the clouds went away. The sun started baking. The little slug decided to try to crawl back into the bush it had come from, but it couldn't remember where it was. It crawled around and around, while the sun was burning it's little body.

Two hours later a woman walked out the garden gate, and this is what she saw.
A little tried out slug, and the last snail trails it had left behind.
