I watched the World Cup final in the evening today. It's been a long time building up, from when we were watching at Chandos, but its been a hell of a month following the football! Not as dramatic a finish as expected, but still a thrilling game to watch. Gotze's goal at the end of extra time came as unexpectedly as Iniesta's back in 2010. It was incredibly worth the wait! What a performance from Schurrle and Gotze, and the whole German team. World Cup, its been great, see you in four years. That makes me sad!
