Green plaque

Only time for a quick sprint out of the office at lunchtime. The area around the BBC centre in Portland Place is always busy. I hadn't noticed this green plaque before. Apparently the Queen's Hall used to be a large hall where the Proms were held. It was destroyed by an incendiary bomb in 1941.
