Trip to hospital

Just routine.

Alex's blood levels for platelets, Hb, and neutrophils were low - not frighteningly low, but lower than they want to keep them.

The medication (chemotherapy) he is on suppresses the bone marrow, so if his levels are too high they increase the dose. For the first time since we began this part of his treatment his medication was reduced and she gave him 2 days off the chemo. We go back in 2 weeks to see how they are.

I had noticed he didn't have as much energy, so at least I now know why!
